The operating principle of a progressive cavity pump consists of a metal helical screw, called the rotor, which rotates inside an equally helical fixed component made of vulcanized rubber, called the stator.
ISOPREN manufactures all-rubber floating stators for pumps used for liquid transfer.
Their main characteristic is that they are not rigidly fixed, allowing relative (or floating) movement with respect to the surrounding structure. This reduces transmitted stresses and helps absorb vibrations, impacts, and thermal expansion.
An important part of our production is the food sector in which we are present with mixtures of natural and synthetic elastomers in accordance with the provisions of national legislation for contact with food or substances for personal use.
